Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the number one bow weatherstrips and retainers from the left and right sides.
2. Release and fold back the folding top cover from the number one bow. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement .
3. Remove the front section of the headliner. Refer to Folding Top Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .

Leaving the 2 outward most screws intact, remove the inboard headliner retaining bracket screws and fold back the headliner.

Tip
Turn the latch actuator counterclockwise, pull downward to release from the latch actuator.

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)
