Notice: Prying against the folding top rails could result in damage to parts.

Tip
Manual operation of the power convertible top cannot be attempted for 5 minutes from the last time the convertible top button was pressed. This will allow the hydraulic pressure to bleed off.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the folding top cover. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement .
2. Remove the headliner. Refer to Folding Top Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Position the folding top with the number one bow and the number five bow up, to access fasteners and minimize tension on pins and linkage.

Folding Top Bow Clip (Qty: 2)

Tip

1. One on each side.
2. Do not reuse the spring flex clip. Replace after disassembly.
3. Use a small flat-bladed tool to lift the retainer spring flex clip upward.
