The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

February 9, 2006 This is a service VME to All Chevrolet dealers regarding 2007 Chevrolet Corvettes. Beginning Feb 1, 2007 on all Corvettes after VIN 75125378 the door sill trim on both the passenger and driver's side has been revised. Chevrolet will be sending a sales bulletin to all dealers this month to advise the sales area. This is a mid year change and previous built vehicles should not be changed. The new part numbers 25789917 (LH) and 25789918 (RH) will not be accepted on vehicles built with the older style decals. The older style decals will remain available under the old part number 10351789 and 10351788. The new sill decal has an aluminum appearance with black inserts while the old style is all black. If a customer request their older style vehicle be updated they should be advised that they can be purchased through the parts department and installed as any other customer paid dealer installed option.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
