The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
The customer concern may be an upper engine noise, or needle bearings found in the oil pan during an oil change.
Engineering is interested in any LS7 engine with rocker arm needle bearings found in the oil pan.
There was a Dealer World Administrative message sent to dealers asking for assistance with these repairs. The Dealer World message number is CHS20070120.

If your dealership encounters a 2007 model Z06 Corvette with a rocker arm concern, such as needle bearings missing or needle bearings in the oil pan, please contact Steve Pass at 248-431- 9568 before beginning any repairs. We would like to verify certain bolt torques before the bolts are disturbed, using a specific procedure. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
