    • DT-47624 Transmission Cooler Line Release Tool
    • DT-47731 1/2 Inch Quick Connect Release Tool

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1195053  Size: SH
  1. Install the J 41623-B , or the DT-47731 or the DT-47624 onto the transmission oil cooler (TOC) pipe.

  2. Object Number: 1195054  Size: SH
  3. Slide the J 41623-B , or the DT-47731 or the DT-47624 toward the TOC pipe fitting.

  4. Object Number: 1195056  Size: SH

    Important: Rotate the J 41623-B , or the DT-47731 or the DT-47624 to engage the TOC pipe fitting's retainer slots.

    The J 41623-B , or the DT-47731 or the DT-47624 should be nearly flush with the fitting.

  5. Connect the J 41623-B , or the DT-47731 or the DT-47624 onto the TOC pipe fitting.

  6. Object Number: 1195059  Size: SH
  7. Rotate the J 41623-B , or the DT-47731 or the DT-47624 until the retainer clip (1) rises above the fitting retainer seat.

  8. Object Number: 1195062  Size: SH
  9. Pull back on the TOC pipe to disengage the pipe from the TOC pipe fitting.
  10. Remove the J 41623-B , or the DT-47731 or the DT-47624 from the TOC pipe.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1195424  Size: SH

    Important: Inspect the TOC pipe fitting and retaining clip for signs of wear or damage. Replace the components if necessary.

  1. Install the TOC pipe into the TOC pipe fitting.
  2. A distinct snap should be heard or felt when assembling the TOC pipe to the fitting.

  3. To ensure the cooler line is properly installed, give the cooler pipe a gentle pull.
