Engine Block Valley Cover Cleaning and Inspection for Chevrolet Corvette 2008

  1. Clean the valley cover in solvent.

    2. Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Dry with compressed air.
  3. Inspect for restrictions within the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) passages (1, 4).
  4. Inspect for damaged threads (2) and damaged sealing surfaces (3).
