DT-48827 Gear Select/Reverse Lockout Solenoid Socket

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 180654 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the gear select solenoid electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 1887548 Size: SH
  3. Using the DT-48827 , remove the gear select solenoid.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1887548 Size: SH
  1. Using the DT-48827 , install the gear select (skip shift) solenoid.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the gear select solenoid to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).

  2. Connect the gear select solenoid electrical connector.
  3. Lower the vehicle.
