Radio Rear Speaker Replacement Convertible
Removal Procedure
- Position the foldable top in the down position.
- Position the tonneau cover in the up position.
- Grasp the speaker cover and firmly pull outward removing the speaker grill from the trim panel.
- Remove the screws (1) securing the speaker to the trim panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.
- Remove the speaker (2) from the car.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.
- Position the speaker (2) in the opening in the trim panel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the screws (1) securing the speaker to the trim panel.
- Tighten the screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in)
- Position the tabs on the speaker grill to the slots in the trim panel.
- Push the speaker grill inward until fully seated against the trim panel.
- Return the tonneau cover and folding top to their original positions.
Radio Rear Speaker Replacement Coupe
Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to
Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.
- Remove the screws (1) securing the speaker (2).
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.
- Remove the speaker from the car.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the electrical connector to the speaker (2).
- Position the speaker in the opening.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the screws (1) securing the speaker.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to
Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.
