If the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed in the order listed below:
2.1. | Connect the Tech 2 to the vehicle |
2.2. | Select RCDLR under Module Setup in the Vehicle Control System menu. |
2.3. | Select Setup New RCDLR. |
2.4. | Follow the on-screen instructions. |
During the ECM programming, select Theft Deterrent Learn for ECM on the SPS terminal.
If a keyless entry transmitter is replaced, the following procedure must be performed:
Keyless Entry Transmitter Programming--Refer to Transmitter Programming .
If the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed in the order listed below:
Important: Any time the RCDLR is replaced, the steering column lock module (SCLM) must also be replaced. Failure to replace the SCLM when replacing the RCDLR will result in a no start condition.

2.3. | Select Setup New RCDLR. |
2.4. | Follow the on-screen instructions. |
Important: The Theft Deterrent 10-Minute Relearn Procedure for the Steering Column Lock Module (SCLM) must be done first. Failure to do so may result in complications when attempting to perform the Theft Deterrent 10-Minute Relearn Procedure for the Engine Control Module (ECM).
During the ECM programming, select Theft Deterrent Learn for ECM (Export Only) on the SPS terminal.
The SCLM will learn the incoming fuel continue password immediately upon the next ignition transition from OFF to CRANK.
If a keyless entry transmitter is replaced, the following procedure must be performed:
