Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front Coupe

1. Remove the passenger seat. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the rear trim panel (1). Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement .



3. Remove the bolt attaching the retractor (2).
4. Remove the retractor assembly from the vehicle.

1. Position the retractor assembly in the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




2. Install the retractor bolt (2).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 41 N·m (31 lb ft).

3. Install the rear trim panel (1). Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement .
4. Install the passenger seat. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Replacement .

Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front Convertible

1. Remove the passenger seat assembly. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the intermediate carpet. Refer to Intermediate Carpet Replacement .



3. Remove the bolts (1) attaching the retractor.
4. Remove the bolt securing the seat belt anchor to the seat.
5. Remove the retractor (2) assembly from the vehicle.

1. Position the retractor assembly in the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




2. Install the retractor (2) and seat belt anchor bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 41 N·m (31 lb ft).

3. Install the intermediate carpet. Refer to Intermediate Carpet Replacement .
4. Install the drivers seat. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Replacement .
