The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some customers may comment that the front fog lamps do not illuminate when the Unlock button is pressed on the transmitter and the Approach Lights are On in the DIC menu. The Owner's Manual incorrectly states the fog lamps will illuminate along with the Parking and Back-up lamps when specified Approach Lights criteria is met. Only the High Beam head lamps, Parking lamps and Reverse lamps will illuminate with this feature. The fog lamps will not illuminate during the Approach Lights operation.

Normal Operation. Do not replace any parts for this concern.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
