The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
When servicing the RH Temperature or Mode HVAC actuators, it is necessary to roll the IP back to access these actuators. This is a very labor intensive procedure.
Recommendation/Instructions:
When diagnostics lead to replacing the RH Temperature or Mode HVAC actuators, engineering recommends replacing all 4 HVAC actuators due to the labor intensive nature of the procedure.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
