This PI was superseded to update model years. Please discard PIC4364.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment that when attempting to open the tonneau via the release switch, the tonneau will not release or open. This may be the result of a BCM that was not configured correctly.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Perform the BCM set up and configure options only. Be sure there is NO asterisk (*) next to RPO CM7 or the Power Folding Roof option. If so, remove the asterisk (*) next to the option. Save options then re-evaluate.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
