Procedure

  1. Disconnect the PCV quick-disconnect to the air cleaner.
  2. Disconnect the mass airflow (MAF) electrical connector.

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1672559 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector for the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
  2. Loosen the clamp.

    3. Object Number: 1672572 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts holding the air cleaner assembly to the radiator core support.
  4. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the air cleaner assembly.
  2. Tighten the hose clamp.

    3. Object Number: 1672572 Size: SH
  3. Install the bolts holding the air cleaner assembly to the radiator core support.

    4. Object Number: 1672559 Size: SH
  4. Connect the electrical connector for the MAF/IAT sensor.

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the mass air flow harness connector.
  2. Disconnect the air cleaner output duct from the air cleaner housing.
  3. Disconnect the air cleaner housing from the air cleaner retainers on the radiator core support.
