Warning: Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission Pipe Warning in the Preface section.

1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement.



2. Disconnect the quick-connect fittings at the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve (7). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
3. Remove the EVAP pipe (2).

1. Install the EVAP pipe (2) to the EVAP canister purge valve (7).
2. Connect the EVAP pipe (2) to the connection for the canister at the left rear of the engine.



3. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement.
