Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side or Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side.

    2. Object Number: 164499 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector to the mirror wire harness.

    3. Warning: Refer to Eye Protection Warning in the Preface section.

  3. Remove the mirror face. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement.
  4. Remove the screws from the mirror motor.
  5. Pull the motor electrical harness through the mirror housing.

    6. Object Number: 742277 Size: SH
  6. Remove the motor from the mirror housing.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 742277 Size: SH
  1. Position the motor to the mirror housing.
  2. Pull the motor electrical harness through the mirror housing to the inside door panel.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the screws to the mirror motor.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the mirror motor screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the mirror face to the mirror housing. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement.

    5. Object Number: 164499 Size: SH
  5. Connect the electrical connector to the mirror wire harness.
  6. Check the operation of the mirror.
  7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side or Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side.
