DT-48827 Gear Select/Reverse Lockout Solenoid Socket

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Disconnect the gear select solenoid electrical connector.



3. Using the DT-48827 socket , remove the gear select solenoid.

Caution: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution in the Preface section.




1. Using the DT-48827 socket , install the gear select (skip shift) solenoid and tighten the solenoid to 40 N·m (30 lb ft) .



2. Connect the gear select solenoid electrical connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
