Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Corvette 🢒 Driveline/Axle 🢒 Rear Drive Axle 🢒 Differential Cooler Fitting Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Lower and support the rear of the exhaust system.
  3. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.

    4. Object Number: 1506360 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the differential cooler line from the differential cooler. Refer to Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting.
  5. Remove the differential cooler fitting from the differential cooler.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1506360 Size: SH
  1. Install the differential cooler fitting to the differential cooler.

    2. Tighten

        • Tighten the 1/2 in fitting to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).
        • Tighten the 3/8 in fitting to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).
  2. Connect the differential cooler line to the differential cooler. Refer to Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting.
  3. Fill the differential fluid. Refer to Rear Axle Lubricant Level Inspection.
  4. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
  5. Raise and secure the rear of the exhaust system.
  6. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
