Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1506927 Size: SH
  1. Remove the screws (1) from the top retainer.
  2. Remove the compression seal panel from the number 1 bow. Refer to Folding Top Seal Compression Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove both side rail weatherstrips and retainers.
  4. Remove the tension cable. Refer to Folding Top Cover Side Tension Cable Replacement.
  5. Remove the top material from the number 5 bow.
  6. Disconnect rear window heated glass electrical connection.
  7. Pull top material out of the number 2, 3 and 4 bows.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 214592 Size: SH
  1. Slide the top cover through the roof bows (2, 3, 4).
  2. Attach the rear window electrical connector.
  3. Attach the top cover to the number 5 (5) bow by pressing seam into the number 5 bow groove.
  4. Install tension cable. Refer to Folding Top Cover Side Tension Cable Replacement.
  5. Install both side rail weatherstrips and retainers.

    6. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  6. Install the screws (1) to the top retainer.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install compression seal panel. Refer to Folding Top Seal Compression Panel Replacement.
