Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 63735 Size: SH
  1. Remove the roof panel.

    2. Object Number: 63742 Size: SH
  2. Remove the sunshade. Refer to Sunshade Replacement.
  3. Remove the side and upper garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 63754 Size: SH
  4. Mark the location of the striker to aid in installation.
  5. Remove the bolts attaching the striker.
  6. Remove the striker.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 63754 Size: SH
  1. Align the striker with the marks made before removal.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the striker attaching bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the roof front latch handle striker bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the upper and side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.
  4. Install the sunshade. Refer to Sunshade Replacement.

    5. Object Number: 63735 Size: SH
  5. Install the roof panel.
  6. Adjust if necessary. Refer to Roof Lift Off Panel Adjustment.
