WINDSHIELD WASHER SLOW INSTALL CHECK VALVE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: All 1984 'A', 'F' and 'G' Models

The washer system response time on Permanent Magnet type wipers used on 1984 'a', 'F', and 'G' models may be reduced by installing a check valve, part no. 255104746 in the fluid pick-up hose. To install the check valve cut the pick-up hose off 2 inches from the washer pump and insert the valve. Be sure to observe the direction of flow through the valve. The valve wi11 prevent fluid drain back and reduce the washer response time.
