Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fuel Pressure Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1372460 Size: SH
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .

    2. Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the fuel filter protector located on the underbody.

    4. Object Number: 1372461 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the rear fuel feeding tube connector and the rear filter tube connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1372462 Size: SH
  1. Connect the rear fuel feeding tube connector and the rear fuel filter tube connector.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1372463 Size: SH
  2. Install the fuel filter protector.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fuel filer protector retaining bolt to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
  4. Perform a leak test of the fuel filter.
