Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1256796 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  2. Remove the rear wheel mud guards. Refer to Rear Mud Flap Guard Replacement in Exterior Trim.
  3. Remove the fascia bolts at the top of the rear wheel wells.

    4. Object Number: 1256798 Size: SH
  4. Remove the lower fascia screws.

    5. Object Number: 1256801 Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear combination lamps. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  6. Remove the luggage compartment wheelhouse trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Remove the fascia bolts in the luggage compartment.
  8. Remove the upper fascia screws.
  9. Remove the fascia.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256801 Size: SH
  1. Install the fascia.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the upper fascia screws.
  3. Install the luggage compartment fascia bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the luggage compartment fascia bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the rear combination lamps. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.

  5. Install the luggage compartment wheelhouse trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim
  6. Install the lower fascia screws.

    7. Object Number: 1256796 Size: SH
  7. Install the rear wheel well fascia bolts.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the rear wheel well fascia bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the rear wheel mud guards. Refer to Rear Mud Flap Guard Replacement in Exterior Trim.
  9. Install the rear wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
