  1. Check for a short circuit and repair it, if necessary.
  2. Replace the blown fuse.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Turn the ignition ON.
  2. Use a voltmeter to check the battery voltage available at fuse F10.

Is the battery voltage within the specified range?

11-14 V

Go to Step 5

Repair the open power supply circuit to fuse F10.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
  2. Remove the automatic transaxle position lamp.
  3. Use a voltmeter to check battery voltage available at the lamp socket.

Is the battery voltage within the specified range?

11-14 V

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Repair the open circuit between the automatic transaxle position lamp socket and fuse F10.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Remove the automatic transaxle position lamp.
  2. Use an ohmmeter to check the resistance between the ground circuit and the lamp socket.

Is the resistance equal to the value specified?

0ohms

System OK
