J 42467 Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1256237 Size: SH

    Important: The power steering pump in this vehicle is not serviceable. Replace, do not repair, a faulty power steering pump. Refer to Symptoms - Power Steering System .

  1. Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
  2. Using the J 42467 , press the power steering pump from the pulley.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256238 Size: SH
  1. Press the power steering pump pulley onto the power steering pump using a hydraulic press.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the power steering pump pulley nut.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the power steering pump pulley nut to 61 N·m (45 lb ft).

  3. Install the power steering pump onto the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
