Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1256119 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the glove box lower panel cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Turn the sensor to release it from the HVAC module.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256119 Size: SH
  1. Install the coolant temperature sensor into the HVAC module and turn the sensor to lock it.
  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Install the glove box lower panel cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
