Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1255616 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the dust cover from the under body of the vehicle.
  3. Remove the power steering pipe fixing bolts.

    4. Object Number: 1255617 Size: SH
  4. Remove the centermember front damping block bolt and rear damping block bolt.

    5. Object Number: 1255618 Size: SH
  5. Remove the centermember bolts and remove the centermember assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1255619 Size: SH
  1. Install the centermember assembly and bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the centermember bolts to 90 N·m (66 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1255620 Size: SH
  2. Install the centermember front damping block bolt and rear damping block bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the centermember front damping block bolt and rear damping block bolt to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).
