Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375157 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air filter outlet hose.

    3. Object Number: 1375337 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor wiring harness connector.

    4. Object Number: 1375340 Size: SH
  4. Remove the CKP sensor heat shield housing.

    5. Object Number: 1375341 Size: SH
  5. Remove the CKP sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375342 Size: SH
  1. Install the CKP sensor.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the CKP sensor retaining bolt to 7 N·m (62 lb in).


    Object Number: 1375344 Size: SH
  2. Install the CKP sensor heat shield housing.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the CKP sensor heat shield housing bolt to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Connect the CKP sensor wiring harness connector.

    4. Object Number: 1375157 Size: SH
  4. Install the air filter outlet hose.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
