Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1255719 Size: SH
  1. Remove the caliper mounting bracket.

    2. Object Number: 1255721 Size: SH
  2. Remove the rotor detent screw.
  3. Remove the rotor.

    4. Object Number: 1255722 Size: SH
  4. Remove the ABS sensor.

    5. Object Number: 1255684 Size: SH
  5. Remove the hub bolts and hub.

    6. Object Number: 1255726 Size: SH
  6. Remove the upper return spring, lower return spring and adjuster assembly.

    7. Object Number: 1255725 Size: SH
  7. Remove the retaining spring plate, spring and retaining spring pin.
  8. Remove the parking brake shoe.

    9. Object Number: 1255723 Size: SH
  9. Remove the parking brake cable pin and cable from the backing plate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1255723 Size: SH
  1. Install the parking brake cable to the backing plate and lock the pin.

    2. Object Number: 1255725 Size: SH
  2. Install the retaining spring pin, parking brake shoe, retaining spring and retaining spring plate.

    3. Object Number: 1255726 Size: SH
  3. Install the adjuster assembly, lower return spring and upper return spring.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1255684 Size: SH
  4. Install the hub with bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the hub bolts to 65 N·m (48 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1255722 Size: SH
  5. Install the ABS sensor.

    6. Object Number: 1255721 Size: SH
  6. Install the rotor with detent screw.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the rotor detent screw to 4 N·m (35 lb in).


    Object Number: 1255719 Size: SH
  7. Install the caliper mounting bracket with bolts.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the caliper bracket mounting bolts to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

  8. Install the wheel.
