Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1801709 Size: SH
  1. Remove the cowl extension.

    2. Object Number: 1256096 Size: SH

    Important: It is not necessary to remove the air inlet grille panel or wiper arms to replace the passenger compartment air filter.

  2. Remove the hood weatherstrip.
  3. Remove air inlet grille retaining clips.
  4. Lift up air inlet grille to access air filter.
  5. Remove the air filter cover

  6. Remove the air filter.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256096 Size: SH
  1. Install the new air filter.
  2. Align the fins on the plastic frame of the filter with the groove in the holder before attempting to insert the filter into place.
  3. Install the air filter cover.
  4. Install the air inlet grille panel with the clips.
  5. Install the hood weatherstrip.

    Important: Confirm proper installation of cowl extension. If the cowl extension is not properly installed, wind noise could occur when then vehicle is driven.

  6. Install the cowl extension.
