Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2030394 Size: SH

    Important: Left-Hand Drive Shown, Right-Hand Drive Similar.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the audio system trim plate. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  3. Remove the 4 controller retaining screws.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  5. Remove the control assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2030395 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the sockets on the back of the controller.
  2. Gently insert the controller into position on the center console.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the retaining screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the controller retaining screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Confirm the proper operation of the controller by moving it through all of the controller's possible functioning positions.
  6. Install the audio system trim plate. Refer to Radio Replacement .
