Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1256912 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the theft deterrent alarm electrical connector.
  3. Remove the theft deterrent alarm bracket mounting bolt.
  4. Remove the theft deterrent alarm.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1256912 Size: SH
  1. Install the theft deterrent alarm bracket with the mounting bolt. Make sure that the theft deterrent alarm bracket mounting bolt also fastens the auxiliary fan relay.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the theft deterrent alarm bracket mounting bolt to 11 N·m (97 lb in).

  2. Connect the theft deterrent alarm electrical connector.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
