Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1256819 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the seal trim. Refer to Door Bottom Auxiliary Sealing Strip Replacement .
  3. Remove the screws and the front door lock.
  4. Disconnect the lock rods.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256819 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Connect the lock rods.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the front door lock with the screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the front door lock screws to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  4. Install the seal trim. Refer to Door Bottom Auxiliary Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
