Information on Proper Vehicle Lifting Procedures

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform dealers of proper vehicle lifting procedures for 2007 Chevrolet Epica vehicles with rocker panel moldings.

Notice: To avoid damage when lifting the vehicle, the rocker panel molding lower covers must be removed prior to lifting.

The lift points can be accessed by removing the four rocker panel molding lower covers. These covers are located at each of the correct lift points outlined in Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in SI. Please remove the four rocker panel molding lower covers prior to lifting the vehicle. The steps below must be followed to avoid vehicle damage.

1. Remove the rocker panel molding lower cover retainer (1) and rocker panel molding lower cover (2).



2. Position the frame contact hoist pad (3) to the lift point.
