Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375573 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the oil filter.

    3. Object Number: 1375574 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil filter adapter retaining bolts and oil filter adapter.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375575 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil filter adapter.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the oil filter adapter retaining bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1375576 Size: SH
  2. Install the oil filter

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the oil filter to 14 N·m (124 lb in).
