Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1863844 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1864026 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the EGR solenoid connector and inlet/outlet vacuum hoses from EGR solenoid.
  4. Disconnect the PCV hose from the turbocharger inlet elbow.
  5. Remove the PCV valve bolts from PCV valve adapter.
  6. Remove the PCV valve.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1864026 Size: SH
  1. Install the PCV valve.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the PCV valve bolts to 11 N·m (97.4 lb in).

  2. Connect the PCV hose from the turbocharger inlet elbow.
  3. Connect the EGR solenoid connector and inlet/outlet vacuum hoses from EGR solenoid.

    4. Object Number: 1863844 Size: SH
  4. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
