Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1679505 Size: SH
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the off position.
  2. Disconnect the electronic throttle control (ETC) connector from the accelerator pedal.

    3. Object Number: 1679506 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 3 accelerator pedal retaining bolts.
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1679506 Size: SH
  1. Position the accelerator pedal.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 3 accelerator pedal retaining nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the upper accelerator pedal retaining bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    Tighten
    Tighten the lower accelerator pedal retaining bolt to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  3. Connect the ETC connector to the accelerator pedal.
