Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1256552 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front right wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Remove the front wheel well splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement.
  4. Disconnect the washer hose from the washer pump.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  6. Remove the bolts and the reservoir.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1256552 Size: SH
  1. Install the reservoir with the bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the washer fluid reservoir bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Connect the washer hose to the washer pump.
  4. Install the front wheel well splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement.
  5. Install the front right wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
