Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1654815 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel from the vehicle.
  2. Remove the wiring harness from the A/C module.

    3. Object Number: 1654817 Size: SH
  3. Slide the cable eyelet off the post on the temperature door lever.

    4. Object Number: 1654819 Size: SH
  4. Remove the mode motor ventilation link.

    5. Object Number: 1654821 Size: SH
  5. Remove the air inlet case with the screws.

    6. Object Number: 1654822 Size: SH
  6. Remove the evaporator core case cover.

    7. Object Number: 1654824 Size: SH
  7. Remove the heater core cover with the screws.

    8. Object Number: 1654825 Size: SH
  8. Remove the heater core clip.

    9. Object Number: 1654827 Size: SH
  9. Remove the heater core from the case.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the heater core into the case.

    2. Object Number: 1654825 Size: SH
  2. Install the heater core clip.

    3. Object Number: 1654824 Size: SH
  3. Install the heater core cover.
  4. Install and tighten the screws that secure the heater core cover to the aircon module.

    5. Object Number: 1654822 Size: SH
  5. Install the evaporator core case cover.
  6. Install and tighten the screws that secure the evaporator core cover to the heater/air distributor case assembly.

    7. Object Number: 1654821 Size: SH
  7. Install the air inlet case with the screws.

    8. Object Number: 1654819 Size: SH
  8. Install the motor and the screws for the floor diverter.
  9. Install the A/C module.
