Removal Procedure

Object Number: 1863926 Size: SH

Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement.
Disconnect the engine control module (ECM) connectors.
Remove the ECM from the battery tray.

Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Object Number: 1863926 Size: SH

Install the ECM using the ECM bracket bolts and tighten to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
Connect the ECM connectors.
Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement.
