Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection for Chevrolet Epica 2009

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

1. Record all of the vehicle preset radio stations.
2. Turn OFF all the lamps and the accessories.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.



4. Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery.

Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning in the Preface section.





Note: Clean any existing oxidation from the contact face of the battery terminal and battery cable using a wire brush before installing the battery cable to the battery terminal.

1. Connect the battery negative cable to the battery and tighten the bolt to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
2. Reset the radio stations and the clock.
