Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1998675 Size: SH
  2. Remove the transaxle brace bolts (1, 3).
  3. Remove the transaxle brace (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1998675 Size: SH
  1. Install the transaxle brace (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the transaxle brace bolt (1) and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
  3. Install the transaxle brace bolt (3) and tighten to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).
  4. Lower the vehicle.
