Important: Be sure the surge tank cap is installed when performing this procedure. A small amount of coolant will drain if the cap is installed, but if the cap is removed, the entire cooling system will drain.

Unscrew the drain plug from the radiator end tank. Then using a flat-bladed tool, gently pry the plug from the end tank.

Install the drain plug into the end tank drain hole by snapping into place. Tighten using a flat-bladed tool.
