Cannot Perform Emissions Test - keywords calibration communicate ECM machine monitor PCM program tester

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Dealer or State Testing Facility may have concern of vehicle not communicating with the Emission Tester.

Reprogram vehicle with latest calibration from TIS and Tester should be able to communicate.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
