Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Equinox 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.4L 🢒 Oil Pump Drive Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the lower intake manifold. Refer to Lower Intake Manifold Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 187033 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil pump drive clamp bolt.
  3. Remove the oil pump drive clamp.
  4. Remove the oil pump drive.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 187033 Size: SH
  1. Apply prelube GM P/N 12345501 (Canadian P/N 992704) or the equivalent to the oil pump drive gear.
  2. Apply engine oil to the oil pump drive gear assembly for ease of assembly.
  3. Install the oil pump drive gear assembly.
  4. Install the oil pump drive gear clamp.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the oil pump drive gear clamp bolt.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 36 N·m (27 lb ft).

  6. Install the lower intake manifold. Refer to Lower Intake Manifold Replacement .
