Lower Intake Manifold Assemble Procedure

    Object Number: 1832176 Size: SH
  1. Install the upper-to-lower intake manifold alignment pins.

    2. Object Number: 1832171 Size: SH
  2. Install the fuel injector rail.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1832168 Size: SH
  3. Install the fuel injector rail bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fuel injector rail bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).


    Object Number: 1832164 Size: SH
  4. Install the fuel injector wiring harness and connect the fuel injector wiring harness connectors.

Upper Intake Manifold Assemble Procedure

    Object Number: 1832160 Size: SH
  1. If removed, install the NEW expansion plugs into the upper intake manifold.

    2. Object Number: 1832157 Size: SH
  2. Install the NEW throttle body gasket.

    3. Object Number: 1832141 Size: SH
  3. Install the throttle body.

    4. Object Number: 1832138 Size: SH
  4. Install the throttle body bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the throttle body bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

Upper to Lower Intake Manifold Assemble Procedure

    Object Number: 1832134 Size: SH

    Important: Do not reuse the upper-to-lower intake manifold gasket and the intake manifold-to-cylinder head sealing gaskets.

  1. Install the NEW upper-to-lower intake manifold gaskets.

    2. Object Number: 1832129 Size: SH
  2. Install the upper intake manifold to the lower intake manifold.

    3. Object Number: 1832126 Size: SH
  3. Install the upper-to-lower intake manifold bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the upper-to-lower intake manifold bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).
