Preliminary Procedure

1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
2. Remove the center pillar upper garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
3. Remove the rear carpet retainer. Refer to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement .
4. Lift up the rear of the front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement .

Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel

Tip
Start at the top of the lower garnish molding, pull at the clip locations to disengage the clips.
