EI08175 - Front Windshield Glass Stress Crack (Change in Automated Production Facility)

Windshield production has been transferred to a more automated production facility. GM believes this change allows for better handling of the windshield, reducing/preventing edge chips, which is the source of the stress riser resulting in the cracks. GM Engineering has seen a significant reduction in warranty since this change was implemented.
