Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Equinox 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.4L 🢒 Engine Front Cover Installation

    Object Number: 61819 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine front cover gasket.
  2. Apply sealer GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to both sides of the lower tabs of the engine front cover gasket. Apply the sealer no less than 5.0 mm (0.20 in) wide.

    3. Object Number: 1401296 Size: SH
  3. Install the engine front cover (1) to the engine block aligning the cover with the locating pins.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Install the engine front cover bolts (3, 4). Tighten the bolts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).
  5. Install the engine front cover bolts (2). Tighten the bolts to 27 N·m (20 lb ft).

    6. Object Number: 1401247 Size: SH
  6. Install the right engine mount bracket (1).
  7. Install the right engine mount bracket bolts (2-4). Tighten the bolts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).
  8. Install the engine mount bracket bolts (3). Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    9. Object Number: 1369269 Size: SH
  9. Install the heater outlet pipe adapter (319).
  10. Install the heater outlet pipe adapter bolt (308). Tighten the heater outlet pipe adapter bolt to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
