Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the control valve body cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement.
2. Perform the service fast learn adapt procedure. Refer to Service Fast Learn Adapts.

Input Speed Sensor (ISS) Wire Harness

Procedure

Attach the DT-47734 speed sensor harness tether to the ISS electrical connector locking tab before removal of old ISS to assist in installation of the new ISS.

Input Speed Sensor Bolt M6 x 25

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or equivalent to the input speed sensor bolt.

Tighten
9 N·m (7 lb in)
